Version 2.2.0 of Straumur Payments for WooCommerce lets merchants choose which payment method logos appear at checkout, adds refunds from the WooCommerce order screen, and tightens what the plugin writes to debug logs.

Payment method logos​

A new Payment method logos setting chooses which logos appear next to the Straumur payment option, on both the classic and the block-based checkout: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Discover, JCB, UnionPay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, WeChat Pay and Straumur Kortalán.

Stores that update keep the four logos they show today (Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay) until they change the setting. The setting only changes the logos. The payment methods shoppers can use on the payment page are the ones enabled for your store at Straumur, so only show logos for methods you offer.

Refunds from the order screen​

Full and partial refunds can be issued from the WooCommerce order screen. They are sent through the Straumur refund API and confirmed by webhook.

Compatibility​

Tested with WordPress 7.1 and WooCommerce 11.1. Minimum versions are unchanged: WordPress 5.2, WooCommerce 8.1, PHP 7.4.
